Action Team is a spoof comedy action thriller series following the exploits of a special branch of MI6. The team is made up of four secret agents; the heroic Logan Mann, mix martial arts and bomb expert Monica Lang, crack sniper Graham Hooper and Huxley, who's just on work experience. They are overseen by the straight shooting head of operations Ruth Brooks and her assistant called Anne.

Action Team are faced with an evil network that is masterminded by Vladimir Schevchenko, an attention seeking leader of a tiny republic of Russia, that no one has heard of, who is as inept as he is unpredictable.

The show is made by the creative team behind Murder In Successville. ITV says: "Think The Naked Gun meets The Bourne Identity in this high octane, big scale comedy featuring a dysfunctional group of spies.

Fast paced, high concept and crammed with silly jokes."

Co-writer and star Tom Davis says: "Every year I sit there as the bookies predict who they think will play the next James Bond and I'm always left off the list, so I've decided to do something about it."
